Pembrokeshire College has been working with VocalEyes to gain ‘proof of concept’ and using the College’s staff and student communities to test out the platform, providing valuable insights into user-experience as well as enhancing pre-existing engagement strategies.

Building on the huge success of VocalEyes at Pembrokeshire College, they are now set to spread the word at the Association of Colleges conference later this month.
Students have now exceeded 15,000 interactions (ideas, ratings & comments) on the system. The

VocalEyes is underpinning

Pembrokeshire College have begun the process of developing VocalEyes so that certain WKS (Wider Key Skills) can be obtained by using the system.
The majority of students at college will go for WKS qualifications. Currently they require approx 15 pages of
VocalEyes has been included as the only technical aspect of a 400k bid to “Transform Local Infrastructure” in Herefordshire. VocalEyes has been acknowledged as having the ability to assist organisations & communities to become more self organising, encouraging co-creation and
Newquest South West have agreed to run the “Community Voice” as a weekly feature in their papers.
They will start with a pilot of the “Milford Haven Voice” in the Milford Mercury (10k readers) for 6 weeks in the new year.
The IDEC & EUDEC 10 day conference was held last week with the aim of bringing together, sharing, learning & promoting democratic education throughout Europe and Internationally. It was attended by over 500 people representing over 30 countries.
