The work and collaboration between LocalEyes/VocalEyes and Pembrokeshire College has been recognized for its technological innovation in the public sector – both organisations announced as finalists in the DEA (Digital Entrepeneur Award) being held in Manchester in October.
This recognition comes after two years of development and proof of concept at the College which is now not only using VocalEyes for student, stakeholder, staff and public engagement, but is also promoting the system to other colleges, universities and membership organisations.
Making it to the finals of the competition is the icing on the cake for the team working to promote and develop VocalEyes. The announcement featured on the front page of community website OneNarberth. Their post can be read here:
